Evie Logan
I’m Evie, a qualified trauma psychotherapist working part-time at A Positive Start CIC. I work integratively to adapt each approach to the need of every client, whilst interconnecting trauma-informed skills into my practice.
I am an Accredited Member of the NCPS, and member of the ESTSS and UKPTS. I have a Masters degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy, and I am currently studying towards a Masters degree in Psychology. Eventually, I would like to study for my Doctorate in Counselling Psychology which would allow me to assess, diagnose, and treat mental health issues using evidence-based psychological approaches.
I have experience working and volunteering with NHS services and charity organisations. I have been fortunate to work amongst clinical practitioners in a specialised service programme where I was skilfully trained in addressing and working with the psychological and physiological effects of trauma on the mind and body.
I have worked with clients struggling with low self-esteem, addiction and its complexities, past and present trauma including those with a diagnosis of PTSD, anxiety and depression, identity crisis, control and OCD, and many more.
I aim to deliver the highest standard of care to my clients, and hope to create a transformative experience for all who enter into therapy.
