Our Approach
At APS CIC, healing begins with being truly seen and heard. We create safe, non‑judgmental spaces where individuals receive reassurance, understanding, and practical support. Rooted in person‑centred principles—congruence, unconditional positive regard, and empathetic awareness—every interaction is designed to cultivate trust and encourage personal growth.
Central to our practice is the TRUST framework – our trauma‑informed model ensures compassionate care that acknowledges lived experience while guiding individuals toward healing and self‑empowerment.

Supporting Families & Communities
We proudly deliver the STAND: Parents as Protectors programme, equipping parents, carers, and guardians with the tools to safeguard young lives. This initiative strengthens instincts, helps recognise subtle signs of harm, and empowers confident, informed action in protecting children. APS CIC operates on a tiered donation system and funded sessions, ensuring that therapeutic support is accessible to all. Working alongside self‑employed practitioners, we provide care that accommodates different financial circumstances—whether low or no income, funded through council or other services, or full‑fee contributions. This balanced model prioritises community wellbeing, making quality trauma‑informed care available regardless of circumstance.

Our Commitment
Through a holistic integration of mind, body, and spirit, APS CIC is committed to helping individuals heal, grow, and reclaim their wellbeing. We work with schools, colleges, services, and workplaces to build healthier, emotionally safer environments where people feel seen, heard, and valued.
Join us in creating a safer, healthier, and more compassionate trauma‑informed society.
