A Positive Start CIC
Whole Family Support Fund
Supporting family wellbeing through therapy, prevention and education.
A Positive Start CIC contributes to the Whole Family Support Fund collaboration in the Scottish Borders through two complementary approaches: therapeutic support for adults and preventative educational resources for families.
Our work recognises that supporting adult emotional wellbeing, strengthening relationships and providing families with accessible preventative education can contribute to the wellbeing of the whole family.
We work alongside wider services and partner organisations, each contributing their own areas of expertise and support.

Before Referring
- Note that funded places are limited and confirmed after review.

Prevention & Early Education
Supporting Families Through Collaboration
A Positive Start CIC
My Body Is My Body Foundation
The My Body Is My Body (MBIMB) Programme is a preventative, music-based educational programme helping children learn about body safety, personal boundaries, recognising unsafe situations and speaking to trusted adults.
Through engaging songs, stories and accessible learning resources, MBIMB helps parents, carers and educators introduce important conversations about safety, feelings and emotional wellbeing in gentle, age-appropriate ways.
A Positive Start CIC is proud to collaborate with the My Body Is My Body Foundation. Our Managing Director, Deborah J Crozier, serves as Head of Scotland Ambassador for MBIMB and an Advisory Board Member for MBIMB.
Through the Whole Family Support Fund, we are making preventative educational resources available to support families and professionals across our communities.

Prevention Resource Allocation
Our Resources in Action
The following tracker records planned preventative educational resource allocations and how many have been distributed. Supply is subject to stock and project funding.
As the remaining allocations decrease, this helps demonstrate the reach of our work and where additional resources may be needed.
Figures show planned allocations and recorded distributions; remaining figures do not guarantee stock on hand. No personal client information is displayed.
