Reconnect & Regulate 8 Week Program

Reconnect & Regulate means returning to yourself.
It is the process of reconnecting with your body, emotions, thoughts, relationships, values, and inner truth after trauma, overwhelm, or chronic stress has pulled your focus outward into survival.
It means moving your locus of control from external back to internal — returning to the seat of self rather than feeling controlled by fear, reactions, other people, past experiences, or constant stress responses.
When we become dysregulated, life can feel chaotic, overwhelming, disconnected, or numb. We may find ourselves constantly on edge, emotionally shut down, reactive, people-pleasing, hypervigilant, or stuck in patterns we do not fully understand.
Regulation is not about becoming perfect or never struggling. It is about learning to notice what is happening inside us, understanding our nervous system responses with compassion rather than shame, and developing the awareness, tools, and support needed to respond rather than simply react.
Reconnect & Regulate is about creating enough safety within the body and nervous system to become more present, grounded, connected, and able to live from a place of greater choice, awareness, and self-leadership.
What The Program Looks Like
Week 1. Creating Safety
We lay the foundation for the whole journey by exploring the nervous system, trauma responses, and the importance of inner safety. We track emotional states and support self-awareness. nurture self-worth and create a sense of internal reassurance
Week 2. Congruence
This week is about aligning our inner truth with our outer expression. We discuss how allowing ourselves to be real opens the door to connection, the quiet ways we shut down to stay safe & more.
Week 3. Persona
We look at the masks we wear and why we wear them.
This week is about compassionately uncovering survival strategies like people-pleasing, avoidance, or perfectionism.
Week 4. Attunement
This week deepens self-awareness and empathy—both toward ourselves and others. How our life experiences shape how we interpret the world. Understanding disconnection and miscommunication. Not just symptoms, but as adaptations we can now begin to rewire
Week 5. Communication
Tying together what we've learned so far by reflecting on how our nervous system state, trauma responses, and perception shape communication. body language, tone, facial expressions and Neuroception—how we unconsciously detect safety or threat in others.
Week 6. Flow
This week invites us to move beyond the mind and into the body. We explore how trauma lives in the nervous system and the physical body—and how healing must include movement, breath, and energy awareness. Introduction to Qigong, EFT & Somatic Awareness.
Week 7. Permission
This session focused on reclaiming our right to take up space, say no, and receive joy. Hypervigilance; how it keeps us stuck in survival mode, Boundaries as a form of self-respect, not rejection. Giving ourselves permission—to rest, to speak up, to be seen, and to thrive.
Week 8. Connection
A space to reflect, honour the journey, and recognise how much has shifted. Exploring the idea that regulation is a practice, not a destination—& that the ability to return to self, again & again, is the true power of this work. We celebrate the courage it takes to reconnect. Healing doesn't mean we never get triggered—it means we know how to come home to ourselves when we do.
